Milan, Capital of fashion and Da Vinci

It is no surprise that this Lombard city is one of the most visited in Italy. Shaped by history, Milan epitomizes the richness of the Italian creative genius. Whether taking pleasant strolls or following in the footsteps of Leonardo da Vinci, a plane ticket to Milan is the promise of some exceptional moments.

For twenty years at the end of the fifteenth century, Leonardo Da Vinci devoted his skills as a painter, architect, sculptor, engineer to the service of Milan, thus marking the city with his genius. Your Milan tour guide will point out this heritage at every opportunity: it is everywhere. Take the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and continue to the Piazza della Scala with its magnificent central monument honoring the artist. Enjoy exploring the corridors of the many museums of the Castello Sforzesco and the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana. The National Museum of Science and Technology will amaze you as well as the Chiesa Santa Maria delle Grazie, which houses one of the most famous paintings by Leonardo da Vinci, The Last Supper.

A flight to Milan will enable you to admire the Scala with its dazzling operas, the inevitable Novocento Contemporary Art Museum, the San Lorenzo Maggiore Basilica and of course a marvel of Gothic architecture, the Duomo. The Navigli district, with its multitude of restaurants, shops and artists' studios, will be your favorite place for pleasant walks, as well as the many parks scattered all over the city.

In the popular districts of Garibaldi and City Life, you will discover the Milanese way of life. In addition, since you will find yourself in the Italian capital of fashion, you will not leave Milan without a shopping spree in the exclusive Via Monte Napoleone.
