Pizza 4 P's: pizza ‘made in Vietnam'

Run by a Japanese chef who is a specialist in pizza and Neapolitan pasta, this restaurant is an institution for Ho Chi Minh City's expatriate community.

Finding this restaurant isn't easy as it's down a narrow alley behind the sushi bar, on Le Thanh Ton street, but it is well worth it. The locals claim that they serve some of the best pizzas in Saigon and even all of Vietnam... The chef, who is Japanese, is a lover of Vietnam, passionate about Italian food, and mindful of eating in a healthy way. This gives an impassioned result that is very popular with expatriates. They find themselves among large crowds at lunch and dinner in this elegantly designed restaurant.

As for the food, you must absolutely taste the miso salmon pizza – but also pastas. There is spaghetti served with tomato and mascarpone sauce, caprese pasta, Japanese style carbonara with homemade camembert cheese, or pasta with crab. Everything is excellently presented—the Japanese touch and the attention to detail are quickly recognized—and all is served by knowledgeable and attentive staff. Above all, remember to book in advance because of those crowds.
