Isle of Pines: explore Upi Bay in a traditional canoe

There are plenty of surprises in store for you in the turquoise waters of Upi Bay.

Also known as “Little Ha Long Bay”, Upi Bay sits at the south-eastern end of the Isle of Pines. Every day, outrigger canoes sail back and forth across the tranquil waters, delving amongst the majestic rocks which almost seem to balance above the surface.
Step back in time by climbing aboard one of these light wooden craft, and let the lapping of the waves against the hull soothe your soul and lull your worries away. A peaceful, all-encompassing experience where it's not unusual to spot rays, turtles and dolphins, or even the pointed tips of a reef shark's fins.
The ride through Upi Bay is also a great opportunity to chat with the paddlers and other passengers.
The excursion ends with a walk through a forest of Cook pines to the natural swimming pool in Oro Bay.
