Casa de Campo: rendez-vous of the international jet set

This nature complex, one of the most luxurious in the Caribbean, is spread out across close to 30 hectares. Demanding visitors will be satisfied by the vertiginous sensation of space.

Casa de Campo deserves its status as a cult destination. The development of La Romana, in the direction of Punta Cana, started in the early 20th century. The undisputed star is Casa de Campo, designed by American architect William Cox and inaugurated in 1974. This universe of the ultra-selective vacation, with the exotic look of a pueblo, is almost unique in the world. With reception and service worthy of a great palace, the complex's immense grounds (crossed in carts) include a marina and yacht club, a heliport and tennis courts, polo fields and a riding club, all completed by a five-star hotel and villas of very high standing, available for rent or as a primary residence.

But the international reputation of Casa de Campo was mainly forged on the excellence of its three magnificent golf courses, each with a view over the sea, including the famous Teeth of the Dog, the masterpiece of the American architect Pete Dye, which is a sight to behold for beginners and dedicated golfers alike.
