Al Capello Rosso pays tribute to multiple art forms

Inhabitants of Bologna consider Al Capello Rosso to be the oldest hotel in town. And yet, it is moved by only one principle: reinvention.

You barely crossed the threshold and the sign says it already: Albergo in Bologna dal 1375 (hotel in Bologna since 1375). This boutique hotel offers 33 rooms and five small apartments, and built its reputation on excellent skills and service, refined for 600 years.

If you spend a few minutes with the owners, you will understand that they love their city deeply. Their constant and considerate attentions, as well as a perfectionist will to renew themselves, are bound to please you. Very much involved in the city's cultural life, they sponsor the comic book BilBOlbul International Festival almost every year. Hence why five of the bedrooms have been decorated with this theme in mind. As for the others, they put forward cinema, drawing, music, fashion and literature... Arts in general.

Open for lunch and dinner, the Osteria del Cappello restaurant offers local and national specialities: meat platters and cold cuts, tortellini and tagliatelle with Bolognese ragù sauce, tigelle and crescentine. As you can well imagine, good taste and beauty are everywhere to be found at Capello Rosso.
